About Haven Pets
Pet care is made up of hundreds of small moments. Haven Pets is being built to help make them easier to manage.
Haven Pets began with a simple frustration: so much of caring for an animal is scattered.
Vet appointments live in emails or text messages. Medication dates get written on calendars. Changes in behaviour get remembered until they're forgotten. Weight, food and preventative care, symptoms and little observations end up across notes apps, paperwork and memory.
And when you love an animal, those little details matter.
Haven Pets is being created to bring them together.
Where Haven Pets began:
Haven started at home, through the everyday experience of caring for Patch and Panda.
Looking after them highlighted how much information pet owners quietly keep track of — and how difficult it can be to keep everything organised in a way that is actually useful.
What began as an idea for a better way to record their care became the foundation for something much bigger:
a calmer, more thoughtful way to organise the everyday care of the animals we love.
Our Philosophy
At Haven Pets, animal welfare comes first.
We believe pet-care tools should be practical without feeling clinical, detailed without being overwhelmed, and thoughtful enough that owners genuinely want to use them.
Everything we create is guided by four simple principles:
Welfare first - The well-being of the animal should always come before convenience.
Clarity Matters - Important information should be easy to record, find and understand.
Every animal is individual - Good care isn’t one-size-fits-all.
Thoughtful design has a purpose - A tool only works if it genuinely makes everyday life easier.
Starting with Haven Cats
The first Haven Pets product is Haven Cats — One Year. One Cat.
A one-year physical care journal designed to give cat owners one central place for the important parts of everyday care.
Haven Cats is currently in development and will be shaped through research, prototype testing and feedback from cat owners before launch.
Because Haven Pets shouldn’t simply be something that looks useful.
It needs to be useful.
Where We Are Going
Haven Cats is only the beginning.
The long term vision for Haven Pets is to create a wider family of physical and digital tools for different animals — products that can work independently or together while keeping care in one central system.
As Haven Pets grows, the format may change.

We are at the beginning of the journey, and every stage is being shaped with care, real-world feedback and animal welfare at the centre.
