What is Haven Cats?
Haven Cats is a physical, undated one-year care journal created around the everyday reality of looking after a cat.
It is designed to give owners one central place to keep the information that can otherwise end up scattered across calendars, notes apps, vet emails, paperwork and memory.
The journal is being developed to support both routine care and the little changes that owners may want to keep track of over time.
What You Will Be Able To Keep Track Of
Haven Cats is being designed to bring together areas such as:
everyday care and routines
Health observations and symptoms
weight and monthly check-ins
preventative care and treatments
Medication information
Appointments and veterinary records
food and feeding information
behaviour and changes over time
important notes and reminders
The final content will continue to be refined through research, prototype testing and feedback from real cat owners before launch.
One Cat at a Time
The core Haven Cats journal is designed around one cat for one year.
That keeps each animal's information clear, individual and easy to follow — particularly when looking back at changes over time.
For multi-cat homes, Haven Pets is also exploring additional companion packs and expandable sections so owners can build a system around more than one cat while keeping each animal’s records clear and separate.
Built to Be Used
Haven Cats isn’t being designed as a journal that simply looks nice on a shelf.
Every section is being considered around one question:
Will this genuinely make caring for a cat easier to manage?
That means the journal will continue to be tested, changed and refined before launch based on feedback from cat owners.

Haven Cats is being developed with real cat owners in mind.
Before launch, the journal will go through real-world testing to understand what feels useful, what could be clearer, and what would make everyday care easier to manage.
We’ll be inviting cat owners to use Haven Cats as part of their normal routine and share honest feedback that can help shape the final product.
